Introduction

The NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety is a qualification designed to help those with health and safety responsibilities (e.g. managers, supervisors and employee representatives) to discharge more effectively their organisational duties and functions. NEBOSH is a nationally accredited exam and all successful candidates will receive a certificate to prove their health & safety competence.

Certification

Delegates who attend the course and successfully complete the written assessments and project will be awarded the NEBOSH General Ceritifcate in Occupational Health & Safety.

Duration

The course requires 80 hours of tuition time in total and is typically delivered over 12 days. Even though many providers now opt to offer this over 10 x 8 hr days, Mesh-4-Safety prefers to stick with the NEBOSH recommended 12 days delivery for two reasons: the intensity of the material and consequent learning requested from delegates, and secondly, the need for continuous review of what was covered to date during the course is vital and important for the learning to stick. Equally, allowing time for answering questions and relevant discussion greatly enhances the candidates chances of success in the exam!

Additional Revision Date

As well as offering expert tuition and support throughout the duration of the NEBOSH course, Mesh-4-Safety also schedules an additional revision session between the end of the course and the exam date. During this session any problems will be resolved, any tricky parts of the course will be revisited and delegates should go away prepared and confident to sit the exam a few days later. This revision session is charged from only £227.50 +VAT and represents a superb, value for money opportunity to gain confidence for your exam.
