Who is this course for?
This course will make Senior Executive delegates aware of the moral, financial and legal implications of health and safety in the workplace. The course is accredited by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health. Candidates successfully completing a multiple choice assessment will be awarded a nationally recognised certificate.
Aims
To help and encourage Senior Executives to strive to meet the latest requirements set out in health and safety law.
Objectives
By the end of the training delegates will be able to:
- Understand the health & safety role & responsibilities of senior executives.
- Recognise the importance of integrating health & safety objectives with other business objectives in order to minimise the overall risk.
- Take account of health & safety aspects during strategic planning, decision making & effective supply chain management.
- Know the consequences of failing to manage health & safety effectively.
- Understand the principles of OSHMS, continual improvement & annual reporting.
Certification
Delegates who attend the course and successfully complete all tasks set will be awarded with an IOSH course completion certificate.
